More about this painting
Although Cyprus and a period more recent than that of the Minoan civilization, I filed this table among the Minoans. It was inspired by a motif of XII century AD and is visible from Limassol medieval museum in Cyprus (where I was not!) Its reference is: uw.LMRR 162 / 2 LM 1807. I found a book on archaeological research and I was immediately struck by the Treaty calligraphic arabesque of exceptional beauty. The interpretation of the three original images is certainly different: the warrior was perhaps simply a man without attribution? The tree was clearly a spear or a standard that I deliberately changed for aesthetic reasons. When the dog, it might be a second small and stout warrior? For more information, it is little! But the bending features is the magic of this table unique? What do you think?
